Customer Reviews of GameCube Jet Black Wave Pack
Game Cube is not a kiddie system! Okay, i am tired of people putting GameCube down for its "kiddie games". So what if it can entertain smaller kids? Is that a bad thing? No. And to say it only entertains little kids is crazy! Im 14, and i love GameCube! Is Star Wars Rogue Squadron 2 a kiddie game? I mean kids under 13 might like it too, but that dosent mean its just for them! Older kids like myself love it too! People judge the GameCube by a few games. Someone sees an add for Pikmin (which i think looks fun by the way) and say "oh well that game looks like a little kids game, so the system must be for little kids." yeah right! Look at games like Eternal Darkness, Dark Summit, or Dark Tomarrow, they are not kiddie games. Even in the last level of Tony Hawk 3 you have to impress hot girls in short clothes, and thats definatly not for a little kid, its for teens and adults. So with my point proven, I will once again say it: NINTENDO GAMECUBE IS NOT A SYSTEM FOR LITTLE KIDS(only).
GameCube is clearly the best choice of the systems
With three new systems on the market, everyone asks; "Which is better?" The Playstation 2 has been out a year now, and frankly it proved to not come close to living to the standard set by the original Playstation. Soon X-Box will come out, honestly its a Playstation 2 in a new box, 90% of the games are exactly the same. Besides that its only available in $... bundles with some games that arent so appealing. Then there is the GameCube, Nintendo literally shaped the entire industry into what it is today, it's their most appealing system yet. The games are original and outstanding. You have your basic fan favorites in Star Wars, Wave Race, Luigi, (with Mario and Zelda on the horizon) and then new breakthrough games like Pikmin. Nintendo also has a bad rap as "the kiddy system," however with launch games like Dave Mirra 2 and Madden 2002, and future games of Eternal Darkness, Tony Hawk 3 (both coming December 3rd 2001) (x-box is only receiving an outdated upgrade to Tony Hawk 2) and six exclusive (thats right, only for gamecube) Resident Evils. Nintendo surely isnt a kiddy company. Another trivial thing is the system itself, the XBox is enormous, bigger than most VCR's, while the gamecube is a small 5x6x4 inch cube (a dollar bill is 6 inches long!). That's tiny. Nintendo also realizes that video game systems are about games, not dvd's, or the interent. Sure Gamecube has both a 56k modem and a broadband adapter, but its not for downloading mp3's and such. I mean, dont you have a computer for that? In summary, GameCube clearing is bring to the table something astouding, with better games and graphics then either of the systems out. And at $... its a hell of a buy.
Gamecube, the toaster of the 14th century.
Don't listen to people that have played PS2 and X-box but only own a NGC. I own all 3, so listen to me!
NGC can't play CDs or DVDs.
And why in hell are they trying to compete with babyish crap like Super Mario Sunshine against Jak 2 or WWE Wrestlemania XIX against WWE Smackdown Here comes the Pain.
If your wondering why I bought one, well lets just say Nintendo's a bit biased towards their games.
The only DECENT games are rarely made like : Legend of Zelda the wind waker and Metroid Prime but if gamecube wanna actually compete they better hire RARE, Naughty Dog, Insomniac and maybe the companies that make games like GTA.
Get a PS2 if you ask me.
Beleive me I'm reliable.
