Customer Reviews of Gabriel Feeding Pad Break-Away for Nursing, Bottle-feeding, and Burping
Gabriel Feeding Pad Break-Away for Nursing, Bottle-feeding, and Burping Very useful, even if the baby gets a little warm underneath.
Big Waste of Money
Well, this has to be my biggest waste of money yet. I bought this before my baby was born and was so exited I even packed it in the bag to go to the hospital. My son hated it, I hated it and it was just more trouble then it was worth, so I threw it aside and used a blanket when company was visiting. After we got home (he spent several weeks in the NICU) I decided to give it another try in a more relaxed enviroment. Again I was disssapointed, yes in theroy it works and serves its purpose, but using a small blanket is so much easier! Also I dug it out a couple weeks ago, my son is now ten months old and VERY active, we tried it at a friends party and all he did was kick, twist and rip it off. So I went back to our good old multi purpose blanket, maybe he is just used to the blanket so he does not fight it (the blanket only covers his head, not his entire body). Instead of purchasing this I would reccomend a couple of breastfeeding tees from motherhood. They look nice and the style I bought is layered so it covers your stomach, sides and back, with just a small slit on the under layer for nursing. Also I have had close friends comment they look just like a regular shirt.
Loved it
I bought this after my son was a few months old. The weight on the back helps so much and works so much better than tucking a blanket into my bra strap. I like the fact that it is lightweight and the shape covers the side to hide from people sitting behind me (I used it at baseball and football games a lot). I really liked it and can see how someone might not get the most out of it if they aren't feeding when the baby is older and starts to pull a blanket off! I used it until my son was 11 months old and buy it for anyone who is going to be breastfeeding.
