Very cute but not easy for baby to play with
This bouncer looks cute and plays cute songs, but it takes quite a bit of strength to pull the rattles down enough to make the bird spin, and even at 5 months, it's still only on rare occassions that my daughter can get enough leverage to do it herself. She'd rather pull herself up to chew on the handles of the rattles, which means I need to stop using it before she tips herself over in it. The other downside is that there isn't really anything to look at when the bird isn't spinning. <

>I recommend the Fisher Price Ocean Wonders seat instead - we own that one as well - and although the music is less upbeat than this one, it is much easier for a baby to play with. All s/he has to do is kick or pull on the hanging toys to play the sound effects, and when s/he's tired, it still entertains on its own because there are moving fish and bubbles to watch.

i thought the birds were so cute and the price was right. it was only used for 4 months because my daughter flipped it. wouldn't have spent more on a bouncer. we bought the fisher pricer toodler rocker should have started with that.
