If I was a sheep i would rate it BAAAAAAAAAAAD
Alright, to start out this review I must say, I urge buyers, not to get this film. Usually I will always give low-budget films a chance, but this film bites the garbage. The zombies were completely pathetic, having huge heads and nice clothes to ware. I mean come on!!!! i have never seen so must eye gouging scenes in one movie in my life. I would a least think if such bad acting, and terribal camera work would have good gore in the film, but NO, the blood was boring and it was so out of proportion. For example when one of the girls in the film finds out her professer is a zombie, she take an electric fan that is plastic, and puts it to the zombies face. In result, it didn't even show the guys face get shreded, the blood just hit the walls and floor, making it seem like it was bad, but really it was stupid because of the fact that it was a little fan, which it wouldn't even do such damage as it did, it would probably just stop on impact to the face. For this I bid you all good-bye.

flesh freaks is so, so, so cheap - like your friends with a video camera cheap - but it's about as moody, scary, and atmospheric as you can get without any budget whatsoever. in the last third they kind of give up and just give you a lot of gore but it's still better than average and pretty exciting once you get into it. the first zombie is terrible but they get a lot better, the one with the big eye is funny, plus there are so, so many eye-stabbing scenes (fulci homage, maybe?) Speaking of fulci, the dvd cover is totally a rips off of ZOMBIE but whatever, this is a pretty good pack of cheap thrills and blood. the scene where the guy hides in the room at the end is funny plus the whole fan scene made me laugh ... how did it slice up the BACK of the dude's head???!

I'm sorry but this was garbage!
Usually I'm very understanding when it comes to low-budget movies. Movies that people slam I find something good about, especially if it's a zombie movie. But this movie was just plain bad, bad, bad. It has a good premise but goes nowhere. If you like no-budget zombie flicks, get "Meat Market" instead of "Flesh Freaks," it's way better. Trust me, unless you were in this movie, you won't want to waste your time and money watching it.
