Cute toy
This toy is very cute! I love that it is so interactive and lights up. The remote may be a pain but after so many minutes you may want a break from the same songs. It has a volume control too on the base. My mirror doesn't say the wrong item when lit up but if you want the toy to say "yellow house" for the house- you have to have it in mode 2. Otherwise (in mode 1) it randomly plays the songs and lights up the house, boat, and car.
A True Lifesaver!
My 5 month old LOVES this toy. I got it when she was just 3 months. Previously, she would scream and cry in the car and nothing would soothe her. Now, she gets in the car, looks at the toy, and laughs! She loves the songs and the lights and smiles at the images even when the toy is off. I agree that the remote issue is a pain, as is the fact that it turns off after 15 minutes (and only if you have someone in the back with the baby to reset can you continue it). However, her joy and now positive associations with the car are worth it. I think this is a great toy for a baby who loves music and lights (as mine always has) and who may need the distraction in the car. I don't really use it for the mirror.
