Down will go baby, cradle and all This crib is very cute, and also very easy to assemble. My husband put it together in no time. The problem is that the side rail will not lock when you lower it. It comes completely off and has to be put back together each time it is lowered. Since the crib was put together long before it would actually be needed we didn't realize this until the baby was already here. Needless to say we had already thrown out the receipt. The only time this crib will be of use is as a toddler bed when the side rail is no longer needed.
Crib Review
The crib seems pretty sturdy, but I am unsure on how well it is going to hold up with my son, who has not yet joined us. The directions were easy to follow, the harderst part to putting the crib together was getting the screws to stay in place in the last step, the screws that came with it were not long enough. When we recieved the crib the wood part that the mattress sits was chipped and breaking off, so I have to call for a replacement one of those.
I would give it 5 stars, but...
Well, we love the crib, no cracked wood or parts falling off as a couple poor folks have had, it seems sturdy and is easy to put together and quite cute, only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because when we got it, it was missing a few pieces, but we got them in a weeks time of requesting them without a hassel, so I think it is a great little bed and at a great price!
