Customer Reviews of FernGully - The Last Rainforest
Beautifully animated video FernGully is a movie that is directed towards kids, but people of all ages can appreciate the message it delivers. A fun animated movie depicting the harsh reality of what is happening to rain forests in our world. It's great for kids to view this movie, realizing it's based on the real-life destruction of Rainforests this may insight some to take action in their later years. Many rare creatures inhabit Rainforests and the fairy tale creatures of this movie accentuate this acctuality. We may never see such unusual creatures or ever understand them, and that is an underlying message of this movie. Although the subject may seem serious, there are hilarious moments in the movie that give feeling and pertinence to the intricacy of the creatures and how they live maintaing a homeostasis with there habit FernGully. Truly a beautiful and inspiring movie.
Decent Film...
I like this movie, even though as a kid hexxus scared me...ALOT. Tim Currey's voice...makes me think of IT so much...and as a kid, IT was my sum of all fears. Anyway, I'm curious if anyone else feels Batty Koda seems like a humorous version of The Plague Dog's Snitter...c'mon...there's way to much similar between the two...
Wonderful Movie for Kids & Adults
My family and I have found this movie very enjoyable. We originally purchased it on laser disc and once we started having problems with that, we re-purchased it on dvd.

>My 5 year old and 2 year old both loved this movie and enjoy discussing how well the fairies care for the trees and flowers. They laugh hilariously at Robin Williams portrayal of a bat and boo at Tim Curry's smoggy villain.
