Customer Reviews of Family Feud
Gameshow Fun At Home I love playing this game. You can even create a family choosing face, clothes and the names of the five characters. Also Louie Anderson is in the game. The questions are sometimes easy sometimes hard. You press in using the spacebar and you can pass to the other family if you don't have an answer. At the end if you win you go to the fast money round where there's five questions that Louie reads and you answer. Also you either play against the computer or another human.Lots of Fun and the graphics and sounds are great.
Awesome game
I purchased this game last month at a local gaming store for $180. Now I am seeing it on here for only $96!! This game is a MUST-HAVE, especially at this low of a price. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND getting this now, you will not be disappointed.

>My recommendation for this: "Good answer!"
Eh.
First off, I'd like to see Richard Dawson rather than Louie Anderson. Mr. Anderson was never, in my humble opinion, meant to host this game show. Of the four hosts who have been emcee over the years, I'd place Louie at #4. Sorry Louie.

>Anyway, more important is the game itself. The graphics are decent. There are several drawbacks in play, however. A game that could by all rights be completed in five minutes takes about a half hour due to all the mandatory between-round summations, as well as before and after the game is played.

>Next, going through all the motions of the first three rounds is meaningless, for the fourth round, with only one strike and triple points, is the only round that truly matters. The game is regimented to four rounds, rather than "x" amount of points. In the classic Family Feud, the first two rounds were single points, the third and fourth rounds were double points, and, if necessary, the fifth round was triple points. And never had I heard of a round with only one strike. Designing this software with point goals would've made this much more enjoyable, yet instead, one need concentrate only on the unorthodox fourth round.

>Another drawback I find is that if neither contestant from either family hits the survey with the toss-up, the game moves on to a completely new survey, rather than go back and forth until one family hits the survey.

>Yet another drawback I've noticed is that during "fast money," although the game rightfully ends when the family hits 200 points, host Louie doesn't offer up the #1 answers.

>On the plus side (yes, there's a plus side, because, despite all the aforementioned drawbacks, this game is still a lot of fun), unlike many other pc game shows, recurring surveys are far and few between. So far and few that they aren't easily recalled.

<
>Another positive is that there is a huge amount of leeway when it comes to survey answers. Yes, you can adjust spelling accuracy, but by default the game also allows for many synonyms. This is quite unusual for pc game shows and a welcome feature.

>Overall, I highly recommend this game, but I also recommend one doesn't overpay for it. No more than $20.
