If you don't have the space for a large food processor, or just want some help with slicing and dicing for soups and salads, this 7-cup food processor from KitchenAid is an excellent choice. It chops, shreds, and grates, and has a pulse function just like the larger models, although it can't liquefy fruits and vegetables. It's only 13-1/2 inches tall and weighs just 11 pounds, making it an ideal choice for smaller kitchens or for occasional use. In addition to the multipurpose blade and 7-cup work bowl, there's an additional minibowl and miniblade, as well as a citrus press attachment. Only one disc is included, which is reversible for both slicing and shredding.
