Customer Reviews of FLAVIA FUSION Drinks Station (FL401)
FANTASTIC SINGLE CUP BREW STATION I've had my unit for a month now, and am totally in love with it. This unit does it all. Brews Coffee, Tea, Hot Chocolate, "Wellness" speciality drinks, latte's cappuccino's and espresso drinks. You are also able to select 5 levels of drink "strength". What this machine has, that no others do, is that it conforms to your beverage container via a sliding head. Why is this important? NO SPLASH BACK as the beverage is being dispensed into your tall travel mug, coffee cup, tea cup or oversized mug. It fits them all. NO CLEAN UP INBETWEEN FLAVORS. I can make a cup of Lemon Calm tea for myself and immediately make a cup of frothy hot chocolate with no mixing of flavors. No messy pods to dispose of, no filters to clean. It's so simple a 6 year old can use it. This unit ( unlike the SB100 Flavia) DOES BREW THE FROTHY DRINKS. Some say it's noisy.... maybe a little, but it's only for less than 30 seconds....so what's the big deal? Considering the quality of this unit, and the products....I'll gladly live with a little noise. <
>All I can say is.... try the Flavia Fusion, and once you try it, you'll fall in love with it as I have. Coffee in the morning, Afternoon Tea, Frothy Hot Chocolate before bedtime.....all from one unit and ABSOLUTELY NO CLEAN UP BEFORE, DURING OR AFTER USE. It doesnt get much better than that folks. Also, log onto www.bfcoffee.com for Flavia drink refills. They sell to individuals and have Variety cases ( you pick and choose flavors) available of both Coffee, teas & wellness drinks for purchase, and they are cheaper than the Flavia.net site. <

Love it so much, I gave it a name
My husband got me a Flavia Fusion for Christmas (05) and I absolutely love it. Very fast, clean, easy, and much cheaper if you like fancy coffees than going to Starbucks (probably cheaper if you like black coffee, too).

>The cons are that many of the coffee flavors are weak or weird. There are only a few that I really like, but that's plenty. I'm more about consistency than variety as long as all my favorite bases are covered. The Sumatra is excellent. By far the best of the bunch. The Espresso Roast is fairly good, though I only use it to make mochas. The House Blend Decaf is as good as any decaf, though I suspect the French Roast Decaf will be better (none are provided in the sample box but I just ordered a rail).

>The Chai tea + the creamy packet makes a terrific latte when you want something different. Throw in some vanilla syrup (I'd just buy the bottled kind rather than pay for their little packets) and it's fabulous. The Raspberry Spark tea is nice too with some vanilla syrup. I tried the green tea with jasmine and it tasted like something I should be disinfecting my toilet with, but maybe I just don't like green tea with jasmine. I'm not a big tea drinker anyway, so it's possible.

>The hot chocolate it makes, along with the mochas you can make by combining the choco pack with one of the good coffees, are really good, too.

>I'm pleased as punch with mine, but take that with a grain of salt as I'm not a big coffee snob. I just like it very strong and not too bitter or astringent, which several of them are. Don't even bother with the flavored ones. They're terrible.

>As far as reordering the packets, it's $8.95 for 1 rail or 20 (plus it appears that shipping is free if you spend $150 or more), so it makes sense to order a bunch at one time. I just tried basically everything in the sample box and placed a big "stock the coffee bar" order of 7 rails (which I realize now was too little). But anyway, that makes the shipping cost not so painful over all.
Works Good, Coffee is good
No, it is not Starbucks but for a fast cup of coffee in the morning it is the next best thing. Works great, taste good, no dripping pods. Way less noise than the Senseo which I am replacing.
