Something isn't quite right
Yes, it's convenient to be able to actually sit all the way back into the couch because the cord is now long enough. But, it doth reek when I am running toward the goal line for big touchdown in NFL2K1 and all the sudden the screen goes over to the controller selection screen because the Dreamcast is no longer recognizing that my controller is plugged in. Oh, it's plugged in all right... plugged in with the extension cable which seems to be causing the ruckus. We've also experienced some situations where we couldn't get the buttons to work on the controller until we unplugged and replugged the extension cable a bunch of times to reestablish a good connection inside the connectors. We've treated our equipment well (hey, it ain't cheap!) so it's not wear and tear causing the problems. We've been dealing with this since we first purchased the extensions. But, I must go back to the fact that it's nice to be able to sit all the way back into the couch without stretching the controller cable to it's tightest reach. And, to be honest, the problems only crop up every once in a while, not every time we play. Still... 3 stars.

It works
There isn't much you can say about an extension cord. My only beef with it, is the fit. I had to jam the cord in to my Dreamcast port. Then it's a tug of war trying to pull the cord out. I don't know yet if this will damage my system, but that fit really bothers me.

Now I can lay on the sofa and play
This is a must have for those with big rooms. My sofa sits over 15ft away from my TV and Video game. So I had to sit on the floor just to play or pull a chair from the kitchen. Now with this new joint, I can sit on the sofa and play.........I had to have it.
