Can't beat the Feat, especially at this price! Shaun Murphy is an excellent and soulful vocalist, but I still can't completely accept her as a vital contributor to Little Feat. Sue me.
This live CD features Feat tunes from several decades, and as good as the studio recordings are, the live versions are almost always better. You just can't beat an hour of the Feat at the ridiculously low price of this CD.
I do miss Craig Fuller's vocals on "Hate To Lose Your Lovin'" (listed on this CD as simply "Hate to Lose"). But the live version of "Oh, Atlanta", while not the best one they've released to date, is still raucous fun!
For Feat completists, this is a must-buy.
Best Live Little Feat at Unbelievable Price!
I waited a long time to buy this CD because I wasn't expecting much, but I've been literally blown away tonight! (and so were my friends in Yahoo voice chat!) I've been a Little Feat fan for over 20 years and I've never heard them rock like this! "Let It Roll" explodes off the disc like a runaway freight train, featuring a great horn section, and long extended boogie leads by Paul Barrere and Fred Tackett. I didn't know these guys could boogie with this intensity! Every song on here is a gem in it's own right, highlighted by great production, creative and cool arrangements, and fantastic musicianship. Some places on this CD sound like ZZ Top meets Tower of Power mets Little Richard! LOL! Bill Payne also does a great solo to start out OH Atlanta and there's a new song on here called Home Ground that has become a favorite in just one listen. I know you've heard these songs before, but YOU AIN'T HEARD EM LIKE THIS! GET IT! IT'S A STEAL! DON'T BE STUPID LIKE I WAS AND WAIT 3 YEARS! I THINK EVERYBODY IN MY CHAT ROOM IS RUSHING OUT TO GET TOMORROW! WHAT A GREAT PARTY CD! THIS MAKES WAITING FOR COLUMBUS SOUND LIKE MOTHER HUBBARD!

Don't get me wrong. I really do like Little Feat, but this one...stinks. It just doesn't sound right, and the female singer just doesn't do it for me. A real throwaway. Don't buy it... you can have mine!
