Customer Reviews of Expedition Jogging Stroller
Excellent stroller After reading all of the reviews and researching other products, we decided to purchase this stroller. For the price, it is an excellent stroller. Other strollers with the same features are over $200. The stroller was shipped within a week of the purchase. We are very happy with the quality of each component. It was very easy to assemble and use. The canopy can be moved in any position to block baby from the sun overhead, or wind in the front, or closed up completely to see baby, which is a nice feature. When open, the canopy has a clear, plastic window on top, which can be viewed or covered, allowing you to look down on baby. The ride is very smooth over gravel, pavement, or grass. It is very easy to push and the brake works great. As far as pulling to one side, I have not had any problems, but the instructions tell how to remedy this. It is a common problem with adjustments in all bike brakes. I love the zippered pockets on the canopy sides for keys, pepper spray, and cell phone and the big area on bottom and back of seat for mail, shopping bags, or blankets. The seat and straps are very easily adjusted and comfortable to baby. The front wheel is stable (does not turn), but the stroller is easily manuevered around corners and will not turn over by a wheel that turns on you in gravel. There is also a wrist strap for those of us not gifted with grace so your little one won't stray far. Although the stroller is a bit bulky when folded, it is very easily closed and opened up. It travels well in the bed of our pickup. We all look forward to our evening strolls thanks to our new stroller.
Not for shopping
The stroller is a great price ($99.99) compared to other joggers at $400.00. The only problem I have with it so far is that when I shop it doesn't maneuver very well between clothes racks, aisles, etc. It's too long. If you are looking for a stroller for shopping, this is not it.
Great Stroller!
I've been using this jogging stroller for about a month now and still love it. If you are looking for an inexpensive jogging stroller with plenty of storage space, wide seating, then this is it. My one year old loves sitting in this stroller. I bought it for a trip to California knowing I would be using it on dirt trails rather than for jogging. I also purchased it to use at the beach. It is soooo easy to roll in the sand, I can't believe I didn't get one with my son (he's three now). We used the stroller at the airport and there was no problem with stowing it away at the gate. It is so easy to open and close. As soon as my husband put it together, which was not a problem at all, I noticed the difference between regular strollers and joggers with actual tires. The ride is smoother, much more quiet, and not difficult to handle at all. Yes, a little bulky and heavy but what do you expect from a stroller with actual tires big enough to handle the road? Back to assembly- my husband used the instructions and was able to put this together within 15 mins. He said the instructions were easy as were the parts he needed to put together.

>Now, since I've been using this for about a month now. I still love it and will not go back to regular strollers. For the price, this was much better than the McClaren that I had for my son. Much wider seat, much more storage, cover for the front wheel with a step on both sides, and a better ride. The height of the handle bar was perfect and both my husband and myself were very comfortable. There was no leaning over and pushing it was a breaze. The brakes on the back wheels are made of rubber and hold up real well on an incline (good thing). After a lot of use, I am watching to see if they start to wear since you have to use your foot to step on it. If you actually see one, you will know what I mean. There is also a strap for your wrist that attaches to the bottom of the back of the stroller which I used to rock my baby to sleep while in a restaurant. Loved it because I could still sit while doing it.

>I didn't give it 5 stars only because there are no shock absorbers like you see on the more expensive models. But then again, that's why they are more expensive. I wouldn't pass this over just for that though.
