Recalled???
I purchased the natural finish of this crib in February and began using it in April when my son Kadin was born. It was pretty easy to put together, taking roughly about an hour or so. We haven't had any major problems with this crib so far. It is very attractive and seemingly sturdy. My son hasn't reached that "destructive" phase yet when this crib would really be tested. The only complaint I've had is that the rail is a bit difficult to adjust, making just enough noise to wake a sleeping baby. Not too shabby for the price though. I've read other crib reviews which were much worse. However, after visiting babycenter.com, I was shocked to read that Delta Luv has recalled this crib due to there being an excessive amount of lead contained in the crib's paint. There is a particular part number(4827-2), and color(natural) with which this problem has been found. Overall, I was satisfied with the performance of this crib. Too bad I will have to return it now. I just wanted to make this known to any other potential purchasers of this item who may not be aware.
