Customer Reviews of Erotic Moods, Vol. 3: Romantica
Straight up sensual I have all three of these discs (excluding the best of), and each and every one of them is superb in it's own offering. The blends of different sounds and harmonies lead the listener down many different visionary paths, abounding nuances, and audio delights. A must have collection for those of you who enjoy erotic, sensual sound, along with your erotic and sensual playtimes. Staight up sensual!!
Very good!
Splendid! Romantic, moody, sensual, trance-porting, this CD is fabulous. This is music that I could listen to over and over. NuSound takes the best of fusion, ambient, trance and soft electronic dance music and whips them up into a warm inviting and alluring series of tracks for sheer listening pleasure. Erotic Moods- Vol 3 is a subtle and tasteful well produced work with a flavor of the refined jazzy tones of certain well crafted music of the late eighties, such Everything But the Girl, interwoven with classic singing voices and the best electronic sounds. A subtle moody creative cocktail that truly works, that will wrap your body in red velvet whilst making your Soul dream. I loved it.
Not what I was expecting
I listened to this album for a long time at a listening station at Tower Records. I was expecting to hear a bunch of moaning and such but was instead pleasantly surprised to hear a great "smooth jazz" sounding album. I would call it a mix of "lite-jazz" with a little bit of "Enigma" thrown in but without all his annoying yelling. It is more edgy, I think, than just a typical smooth jazz album. The rythms are very cool and I would consider them along the lines of groove. I didn't hear any talking and such but I only listened to about half of each song. Various instruments like keyboard and guitar lay out cool, darker sounding melodies. This kind of music is not what I'd expect to hear with a title like that and I will be embarrased bring it up to the counter but I think it'll be worth it.
