Good first tape I am a long-time karate and kung fu instructor and also student of kali/escrima, and teach knife skills and close quarters weapons techniques, and I think this is a good first video on knife fighting and training. Franco's instruction is very clear and concise and the drills and combos are relatively simple and practical. This is an excellent video to build basic skills before moving on to some of the more advanced drills and techniques. Mr. Franco demos many techniques, drills, and training methods that are essential before going to the next level. He also has a second volume which goes into more advanced techniques which is definitely worth getting. Also, the setting is nicely done since it's filmed in Hawaii and uses some nice scenery and backdrops. Overall a very nice introductory video on knife skills.
