Designed to waste as much ink as possible. It clogs continually, and it always takes more than one cleaning cycle to get it printing right again. Which wastes all sorts of ink. When a cartridge gets down to 10% or less it won't allow you to run a cleaning cycle anymore, it tells you there's not enough ink left to run cycle to give you an idea about how much ink it wastes while cleaning. It's down right criminal how the printer manufactures purposely gouge you with replacement cartridges. scanning is adequate though.
This is a dud printer
My father-in-law bought this printer for me less than two years ago. I had the same paper-feed problems described above (large amounts being pulled through for no reason). Eventually a sensor was damaged and it stopped working, I exchanged it within the year warranty and hoped it was a fluke. The "new" one that was sent had the EXACT SAME PROBLEMS from the get go, and eventually stopped working as well. Unfortunately, the warranty had run out and I am now stuck with a $175. paper weight.

terrible printer
I thought my cx3200 was just a 'friday built' one - but no. I have used two identical models and they all had the same problems.
