high chairs by design are unsafe.
For all ofyou new parents. Before my son was born we attended a baby safety convention. The convention revealed a lot of interesting information. High chairs are so very dangeous for your children, they are easily knocked over and they are very unsturdy. We highly recommend a company called "Babee Tenda." Babee Tenda has been around for a long time, but they mainly sell to hospitals for children. There chair is amazing. It looks funny but it is so multi-functional. There are no warning labels on it because there is no way this seat can be pushed over and no way your child can get out of it. And it grows with your child. At birth my son could sit in this chair in the reclined position. I highly recommend buying one. They are pricey, starting in the 400's, but they serve so many functions, and there is no way your child can be injured by this product. Thanks alot. Hope this helps some of you! Oh, you cannot get it at Babies R Us. You have to go to their website or to one of their conventions.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT
This is an unsafe baby product. We received this chair as a shower gift and now cannot return it since it is over 90 days old. Evenflo refuses to believe there is anything wrong with this chair. This high chair will not stay in the upright position. This is an unsafe chair. Evenflo has offered to pay the shipping to have it sent back to them and have their design team look at it. If they feel it is safe they are going to mail it back to me. Boy, I can hardly wait to see what they say. Somehow, I don't think they are going to say it is unsafe. I have informed TOYS R US to discontinue selling this product. This is a lawsuit waiting to happen!

WORST BABY PRODUCT EVER!
I was pretty upset with myself after purchasing this highchair without reading the reviews first, as I usually do! I purchased this highchair because the price was great and it looked nice... I liked the idea of all the features too. I was fooled!! I don't even know where to begin with the flaws of this highchair so I'll just list them:

*Not sturdy, this highchair is flimsy plastic held up by practicaly nothing!
*Tray does not "slide", it is nearly impossible to move with even both hands!
*"Recline feature"... baby can kick and the seat back will fall backward!
*The wheels lock up if you try to roll it.
*Moving it up and down is a pain because it gets stuck so badly my husband even has to "force" it to move, then if you try to move it by lifting the seat it slides back up all over again, ugh!
*My 8 month old can throw the "locked" tray off of it, and food gets under it too... so what is the point of even having the dishwasher safe cover if you have to wash it all anyway?!
*Folding... you can fold it up but the whole thing will fall over because there is nothing to stand it up with... again, pointless!
*The pad slips off putting baby in and taking baby out... and it doesn't come very clean even after the wash!

All and all we were very disappointed in the Evenflo highchair... most of their other products are great... where did they go wrong?!
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME... BUY A BETTER QUALITY CHAIR.

**ALL PARENTS!!! IF YOU HAVE THIS CHAIR CALL EVENFLO AND TELL THEM EVERYTHING THAT IS WRONG WITH IT!! (# IS ON THE BACK) THIS WAS A TERRIBLE DESIGN. I HAVE CALLED AND THEY ARE SENDING ME DIRECTIONS ON HOW TO DESTROY THE CHAIR AND SEND THEM A PIECE AND THEY WILL SEND ME MY MONEY BACK... YET ANOTHER PROBLEM! SO NOW WE HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE HASSLE OF DESTROYING THE THING AND WAIT WHO KNOWS HOW LONG TO GET A REFUND PLUS DISPOSE OF IT! I DON'T FEEL IT IS RIGHT FOR THEM TO BE SELLING THIS CHAIR.**
