Crafted in Marcigny, France, at a factory founded in 1850, it is high-fired from premium lead-free Burgundy clay with a surface treatment that ensures both shock- and temperature-resistance. The glossy glaze resists scratches for carefree slicing and serving, and it will not crack, craze, or chip under normal use.
