Best hard case for Palm Tungsten E
This aluminum case for the Palm Tungsten E not only provides outstanding impact protection, but allows immediate access to the Tunsten E's stylus WITHOUT partial removal from this case (COMMON fault to all other aluminum cases for the Tungsten series, including Palm's own aluminum case). The front lid has storage for SD and MMC cards with plastic retainers well removed from the Tungsten E's screen surface; other cases I looked at had protruding SD Card storage projections of aluminum that could damage the Palm's fragile screen with just a little case front deflection. Openings allow cord access for Hot Sync and power on the case bottom and stylus access to "Reset" and speaker sound on back surface. Provided with a well-thought-out REMOVABLE attachment point for a furnished belt clip. The case attaches to the Tungsten E using Tungsten E's mechanically secure open slot opposite Tungsten E's stylus storage, not by adhesived Velcro; consequently, Eforcity's front lid hinges and opens fully for complete, unrestricted access to the Tungsten E's screen, digitizer and buttons and for IR Beaming to and from the Tungsten E. The Eforcity case interior is fully covered by neoprene padding. An outstanding design. Eforcity's delivery was prompt and they e-mailed shipment tracking information.
