There are better
I thought this would be great, but: 1) the mattress for the bassinet section is terrible. It never lays flat. I've done everything imaginable to flatten it with no luck. No matter how I put my baby to sleep, he ends up in a rut. I can't imagine that is good for his developing spine. I am going to cut a piece of plywood to fit below the mattress (loses its portability!). 2) not impossible to set up, but others (particularly Graco) are much easier. 3) the lower bassinet may be nice for larger babies, but it also mean stooping lower to pick up and put down your baby. My back gets a little sore. 4) I am not sure the mattresses and sides(bassinett and play-yard) are waterproof. I keep a mattress pad over it, but am worried that it might get dirty and I can't wash it. It looks pourous and it can't be removed.

I much prefer my less expensive Graco pack and plays to this one.

WONDERFUL!
We bought this yesterday at Babies R Us and they had several in stock. We had considered a basinett for our bedroom but most have a weight limit of 15 lbs--expecting a big baby to begin with, we think ours would have outgrown one of those before I'm ready to have Baby room alone. This play-yard has a much better weight limit along with longer use w/o the basinett feature. Our little one isn't due for a few weeks but I think the vibration feature will be only an additional plus for this bed. My only worry is that the mobile does take up a lot of room and in the dark or sleep deprived nights this may be a bit of a pain. Still, it's very easy to take off or put on so we can take it off for nights. I love the wheels for easy movement, the large storage bag for travel, the drop down window screen (like a tent window), the full size basinet, and the side pocket for diapers or other needs. The product for the money is WELL worth it. It doesn't come with any sheet, something I didn't consider and will need to purchase. This seems to be a really great product!

hard to put up and take down
I really like the way this item looks, and all the stuff on it, but it is a pain to put up and take down. Im not sure if it is because it is new and it is just stiff or what. It is also heavy so would probably be a pain to take to the airport and stuff. Once it is up though, it is very nice. I like the vibration feature in the bassinet and I like the mobile. If you don't do a lot of traveling this item is great. But I would recommend a easy, lighter one if you do travle a lot.
