Customer Reviews of Eddie Bauer® Harness Buddy
My third hand! Great help for parents, especially if they have two or more children. I love going to the mall without worrying about my daughter running away or other dangers.
OK, but some design problems
We bought one of these and it's seen limited use; it's not a bad product, just not something we decided we really needed to use. It has some design problems, namely:
<
>(1) The "backpack" part of it is so small as to be practically useless for storing anything besides the removable leash
<
>(2) The dog's nose buries itself into the child's back, creating an irritating sensation.

>That being said, it will probably get you less disapproving stares/comments than a straight-out leash. And kids don't notice having it on quite as much because it's a cool backpack and it's attached to their entire torso, not just an armband.
Daughter loves it, but only as a stuffed animal!!
My 21 month old loves this doggy harness, but she only wants to hold it. She gets upset when it is on her back because she thinks it should be in her arms like her other stuffed animals.

>We are trying to convince her that it's a back pack and hope once the "newness" wears off she will go for it. Other than that it's very cute, and is a great way to keep toddlers who don't like to hold hands and who love to dart off, safe.

>I never thought I'd put my kid on a "leash" but when I discovered I have a toddler who loves to "explore" and is not content to sit in a stroller or hold your hand - I changed my tune.
