I was able to upgrade my hard drive in minutes With the kit, I was able to transfer the contents of my smaller drive to the larger drive. The operating system and all of my applications transferred. The new 30 GB was then put into my machine and boot up to the windows operating system, as if it was the old drive. It saved me many hours of reinstalling windows and my applications. As a bonus, I now have 10 GB of external storage. The kit included a pcmcia card that allows you to use your old hard drive as an external drive.
