Milliamp-hours is not the whole story These have worked well for more than a year of frequent use in my digital camera, and have not once quit before tripping the camera's low battery warning like Panasonic rechargeable batteries have done in the same camera. These still seem to have their initial energy capacity too, unlike the Panasonics that have noticeably diminished. I expect these will provide very long service. As with more complex electronic goods, a single specification like milliamp-hour rating isn't the whole story.
Better options out there...
This battery has 1800mah while the Sony has 2100mah... go for the Sony!
They seem to last forever.
I used these to replace the batteries for my Archos Jukebox mp3 player. They last about 2.5 hours longer than the batteries it came with and recharge in my jukebox without any problems.
These batteries come CHARGED (some don't).
