Best if you haven't seen the HBO show The only reason I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is because it's not the same show I saw on HBO (and I'm assuming is on the DVD) The show is still incredibly funny, but don't buy it unprepared. The "cake or death" bit isn't on this at all, but there are a few items here that weren't on the televised show. You can tell that this show was meant to be the "audio" version as Eddie describes things in word that he acted out on stage. (I thought one of the funniest bits was when the Pilgrims weren't meeting the American Indians and he did the gesture with his hands talking about their headpieces. He says it in this one) That also reminds me... the Engelbert Humperdinck is not in this one at all. Which makes sense, but man that was hilarious! <

I'm looking forward to either the next HBO showing or buying the DVD so that I can listen to that audio track in the car. <

It is not enough to own the DVD of this wonderful performer, at least for me I want a copy to carry in the car. Eddie Izzard's mind is a great companion as I drive and is far superior to anything on radio. His humor never grows stale and one can listen to this award winner many times over. Highly recommended!
