Sleeping under the stars
This mobile is soothing and calming and entertains the baby when you leave the room without distracting her to the point where she doesn't want to sleep. I don't know why mobile makers only make the darn things go 8 minutes at a pop (20 minutes would be ideal) - perhaps it is to conserve battery power? - and I'd like this better if it ran longer but didn't grade it down for it since all mobiles seem to run this long (or less!) and hence it wasn't a fault of this particular mobile. I use it a lot and have to replace the batteries maybe once a month. But, I've used it from 3 months to 9 months and am still going strong. When the baby starts to pull up on the crib, I plan to remove it from the crib and attach it to a chair for her to watch from afar (or remove the canopy and attach it to a chair and let her watch the stars on the wall. <
