Customer Reviews of Dreamcast Jump Pack
Lacking I think the Sega Jump Pack is lacking. It adds some motion to a game, but it does not even compare to the Playstaion's dual shock. Sega should rethink the whole controller concept.
Only Sega can make a good product for the Sega Dreamcast
After purchasing the Interact Tremor Pak, from which I was very disappointed I got a Sega Jump Pak. What can I say about it? Its simply the best Jump Pak around, PERIOD....NO, its not up for debate...just accept it! The Sega Pak has a moderate amount of vibration when it needs it and has a nice but managable amount for serious action. This is simply a good product to have and by far surpasses the Inter_crap Tremor Pak.

Nice accessory
These days, force feedback is very commonly built into modern controllers. This wasn't so in the infancy of 128 bit gaming. Accordingly, Sega created an external device that hooked into the controller. Read on to see why the Rumble Pak is loved by some and hated by others.
PROS:
-Force feedback in your games slightly improves the realism
-Many games on the system support it
-You can put in in or out of the controller at your will. In many ways this it more convenient that having to go to an options menu in a modern game
-No batteries needed
-You can have it and a memory card in your controller at the same time. That's not the case with the Nintendo 64's Rumble Pak
CONS:
-NOT compatible with all games
-It makes the controller heavier, which will be a turn-off to those who play for prolonged sessions
Overall this is an excellent accessory for a system that is now deceased. They are also relatively inexpensive, due to the system's decline. If you've got a Dreamcast, these are a must have.
