Customer Reviews of Digital Video Editing - Adobe Premiere Pro
Digital Video Editing - Adobe Premiere Pro Great educational DVD. It shows in easy steps all stages of digital movie editing. First you will leran the workings of the program itself, i.e. how to properly configure and optimize it and all the interface and then step by step you will learn to use it in the easiest possible way.
Save Your Money and Your Time
Unless you already know how to edit digital video and just want a tour of Premier Pro, save your money. Even if that is what you want, hire someone knowledgeable to take you on a tour. This training aid will probably not do you any good and the quality is awful.

>My first hint of trouble was on learning that this is not playable in my DVD player. It is a hybrid product that relies on ROM. It did work in my laptop's DVD player.

>The program consists mainly of screen captures with computer synthesized voice for narration. There was plenty of hissing, skipping and dropped sound. The computer managed to mispronounce many of the words and the lack of a normal cadence sometimes interfered with clarity of message. It was difficult to tell where one sentence ended and another began on some occasions and that left me wondering what two different topics had to do with each other.

>This program leaves many terms undefined. It takes you deep into menus to show you how to access particular functions and features but that does little good if you do not already know what those feature are supposed to do. My guess is that if you are already a competent editor, this will show you the interface for Adobe but don't count on it to learn how to edit.
