Customer Reviews of Digimon (Vol. 2)
The Second Volume At Last! Okay first of all, Digimon isn't just some little kids cartoon. I'm twelve, and I've been watching for forever! If you bought volume one, you should buy this video too because more of the kids digimon reach their champion stage and the story gets more complex. The episode with Kabuterimon (did I spell that right?) is really neat. The entire digimon series is worth watching even if you aren't into anime, though that helps. The character design has a way of making you forget that what you're watching is Jappanese and soon the only thing you'll notice is the ocasional (VERY ocasional) dubbing error. I'm not sure I understand why its taking them so long to make new videos though. It might be wiser to watch Digimon on TV if you are short on allowance. By the way, did you know that mon means crest in Jappanese?
A great companion for all Digimon lovers!
To those who do not understand Digimon and believe it is arip-off, you are wrong. Digimon is original and the best. Basically, the story goes like this. Seven kids are pulled into a parallel world called the DigiWorld. There they discover these strange creatures called Digital Monsters, or Digimon. Anyway, there's one for each kid, and they follow them as they try to defeat the evils that threaten the DigiWorld and our own, while at the same time try to find a way a way back home. Each kid has a Digivice, a small device that allows their digimon to digivolve, or grow into the next powerful level.
This series is very deep and can captivate you, unlike a certain other Anime series with a small electric mouse. Each character develops as the story goes along, which makes it seem even more real. For example, there is a strong rivalry between the characters Tai and Matt. Not only that, but the Digimon also have personalities of their own and talk normally, instead of repeating their names like in another show I prefer not to mention. Plus the storyline is unique, clever, and complex, and it keeps getting better and better.
I suggest that you do not miss this video. The three episodes have to deal with Sora, Izzy, and Mimi, and it follows where the first volume leaves off. The story of the Black Gears picks up in these episodes, and that starts off the main portion of the series. I've already seen the future episodes on Fox Kids, so in case you don't instantly get pulled into Digimon at first I suggest you try, because after the first couple episodes you're bound to be a Digimon fanatic! Digimon Dying?
Although most people think digimon and pokemon are the same thing, I know that they aren't. It may be true that pokemon seems more pointless, but what most people don't see is that its digimon thats dying, pokemon lives! This is the best season of digimon, most everything makes sense. But in the seasons after they just think about digivolve, digivolve, digivolve! In season 5, humans turn into the digimon, it is by far the worst season yet. In season 4 humans mutate with their digimon in a form of digivolution. In season 3 the digimon digivolve by means of a card. Although this season has the digivolving with the eggs, it's one of the best seasons left. I hate armour digivolution, it wrecks Angemon and Angewoman.
