Mommy Bear is a lifesaver! I cannot rave enough about this bear. My daughter was colicky and therefore was pretty fussy and had trouble sleeping. This bear helped to calm her down. It was amazing. I thought that it was like and on/off light switch. Turn it on and she stopped crying within 60 seconds. Also, we turn it on when we put her down to go to sleep because if she starts to wake up a little bit it helps her go back to sleep or stay in a deep sleep. This is a "Must Have" for any new parent. I am buying one for every person that I ever have to buy a baby gift for...I'm online buying one now for a friend of mine who is expecting.
Cute and practical
I recently purchased one of these bears because so many people have told me so many good things about them. Although I haven't used this with my baby yet i am very pleased with the softness and look of the bear. Even if it doesn't help her sleep it will be a cherished friend for years to come.
Great product - helps him to go right to sleep
We are first time parents, and when we brought our bundle of joy home we thought since he was so mellow that we wouldn't have very many issues with him sleeping. We were wrong. He had his days and nights mixed up, we were emotional and sleep deprived wrecks and really didn't know what to do next. We actually had this bear all along (a gift from my mom) but hadn't really put it to use. Then, we got a book called 'The Happiest Baby on the Block' by Harvey Karp, and when we used those techniques (the 5 S's), we substituted this Mommy Bear for the SHHHH sound you are supposed to make to mimic the womb and it has worked effortlessly since then. I even bought a second one as a backup in case we somehow misplace the first one while traveling - or, this can go to grandma's house. We love it, and so does our son. I plan on giving this Mommy Bear and the Happiest Baby book as every future shower gift for friends and family.
