Customer Reviews of Denim Stripe Secure-Me-Seat
Go with the Floppy! When you have a little one you learn the importance of doing things with one hand. This seat is rather complicated and you need two hands to put it on. I'm sure once you use it a while you get the hang of it. I bought it and never used it because I could tell how hard it would be to use. I just bought a Floppy seat cover and LOVE it! You can put it on with one hand while you're holding your baby. Ease of use makes all the difference in the world.
Very handy and convenient
I have used this product everytime I have been grocery shopping since my daughter was 5 months old - she has just turned one year! In the beginning she needed the extra support and now I use it as peace of mind that she is secure when I may turn my back on her and, she can't chew on the front handle. I agree with the comments that it does not cover the entire area of a shopping cart seat but it adequately covers the area that my daughter holds onto (over the handle) and it holds her very nicely in place. It is small and folds up compactly so it is convenient to keep in my car and then carry into the store with me. My only hestitation in giving it 5 stars is that the seat portion could be marginally larger and a little more padded. I get stopped regularly by other Mom's who see my daughter sitting in this product and highly recommend it!!
Good for the money
I bought this when my daughter was about 5 months old. She outgrew her infant carrier and couldn't quite sit up on her own and this did keep her from falling over in the restaurant high chairs. I was really only able to use it for a few weeks because it doesn't work very well for an infant who sits well. Once they are able to move back and forth or squirm at all, it doesn't really stay in place very well. Also, it's IMPOSSIBLE to get her into it with only one person but since most people eat out in groups, that shouldn't be a problem! =)
