NOT WORTH IT
When my two youngest boys were 2 1/2 and 6 months, I bought this stroller from a friend. At first I thought it was great, because the older one had the option of standing. Then he learned to get out of the worthless seat belt on the little pad seat and it was hard to keep him in the stroller standing unless I bought a harness and tied it to the stroller. Now I have a newborn, and the front seat only has one reclining setting, it doesn't lie down and yet doesn't slightly recline...it's sort of midway between the two and my newborn flops around even with a headrest. When it's reclined, then my 2 yr. old can sit without bending forward all the time and I can't get to the basket. I can't get a small to medium size diaper bag in or out of the basket, even with the front seat sitting up and the back pad pulled as far out as possible, without some problem. And a carseat won't fit in the front unless you attach the special attachement to the front seat for that purpose. And when I get a break from my 1 month old and try using the stroller with my now 2 yr. old and 3 1/2 yr. old. The 2 yr. old has a hard time getting his legs in and out of the front seat. Finally, the wheels are always getting stuck when I go to fold it up. It's a decent size when folded but smaller than my double graco was.

The only double for us!
When I had my second son my oldest was only 2. Now my sons are about 12 months, and 3 years old. I use my lightweight single ALOT, but this is the only way to go on long walks, airport, vacation, zoo, or even those all-day outings where you are just switching stores all day! <

I saw this stroller, and walked over... when my son laid eyes on it he was sold. he LOVES sitting in the back facing me or facing foward. He loves standing like a "big boy". It is annoying when he tries to get off as I am pushing it, but now he just says so, I stop and he gets off, this takes a mere 5 seconds when with any other stroller it would make me put on the brakes, struggle to get the seats opened, struggle to get the belt off, lift him out (usually resulting with his feet getting caught in the stroller, and than take him out, unlock the brakes and start again! This takes a few minutes!! The baby is comfortable in the front seat, although we never used a carrier with it. It has a 3 point harnesss for the front passenger which keeps him contained, and a flimsy lap belt for the jump seat. The stroller manuvers so well and can fit through ailes, crowds, and can turn on a dime. It folds VERY compactly and fits into my SUV very easily, and it can fit "snuggly" into my husbands car trunk. We love the babies snack tray which is easy to put the kid in over it, we love the large canopy for my youngest son, and we love the reliable and sturdy wheels. <

>Its annoying that the basket is SO LARGE, yet so hard to fit things inside! My MIL was able to take the stroller for a few days and attatch a zipper so I can open it from the side... why didnt baby trend make it snap open or something? Without the additional feature my MIL added, stuffing a baby bag inside (with diapers, pull-ups, wipes, pacifires, my stuff, baby powder, bottles and sippies) would be so annoying that I would have returned it! The front seat reqlines like 2.5 inches, which is enough for my younger son (he falls asleep sitting up easily...) so if your kid can sleep in a carseat, a highchair, or an exersaucer I am sure they will be able to sleep in the front. The canopy is awsome but no shade for my other son, we solved this by just using a hat or attatching the radio flier wago umbrella on sunny days! The snack tray is amazing for my youngest kid, but why isnt there two cup holders on the handle bars for mom and the other kid? I solved this by buying a clip on one, and giving my son water bottles and sippies. It folds very compactly, but at first I was really struggling with it, so I recomend testing it out a few times before doing it in a busy parking lot with a run-away toddler and a wailing baby! Its heavy at about 24 lbs, so its hard to lift in and out but that weight seems to fade away once you get the stroller going. <

>ITs a great stroller, and I wouldnt use another double... but I still use my single as much as possible because the few flaws in this stroller can be very annoying in certain situations. I love it, but hope they eventually make the needed changes.

Think Carefully!
I am seriously disappointed in this stroller and we are Not ABLE TO USE THIS STROLLER. I do NOT recommend this stroller despite having researched tandem strollers carefully and read all the parent reviews prior to purchasing the sit n stand. <

>If you have big kids like me (4month old is 22 lbs & 27" & my 27 month old is 38 lbs & 40"), you will find the seat backs are to low to the point were they aren't condusive for a nap and the frame may not take the extra weight if your older child isn't ready to give up the stroller before you exceed the weight capacity. With only 100 lbs & a light frame it wouldn't have taken us long to do this. If you are thinking for 3 kids riding they will have to be very small and light. Also, my oldest would have exceeded a usable height on this stroller very quickly. <

Instead, without any reservations or regrets, I am a die-hard fan of Chariot Carriers. Don't let the price scare you or turn you off. They are substantially more expensive at first glance but for the quality and versatility (you can do more with them and replace a number of pieces of equipment with just one carrier) they are actually very reasonably priced. You wouldn't regret these, I haven't heard of anyone who has and they are taking over the top of the European market for these types of items. This can not be said of the sit n stand. Unlike the sit n stand, the Chariots do exactly what they say and how they say it and have the quality that people rave about. They are incredible to use in terms of pushing (you don't know the kids are there and they can pivot on a dime something that defintely can't be said for the sit n stand), folding, maintenance, etc. More things that can't be said of the sit n stand. Plus, if it breaks or you want new accessories it is as easy as going to your local bike shop. This also can not be said for the sit n stand. Just think about trying to get a sit n stand repaired if you even can. Not to mention that the sit n stand is far more likely to break due to the Chariot having the quality it does. <
