Watch out for the Toy Bar!!
Overall, this rocker is good. My son hated it until he was almost three months old. Now he tolerates it (6 months). Watch out for the toy bar. It pops off really easy. My son would just bat at the toys and the toy bar popped off. I tried calling Combi and they were extremely rude and unhelpful. The lady told me to just take it off. Period. I didn't spend that kind of money to remove the most interesting part. I never used the speakers. The latch system is terrible. Hard to open and close. Keep your fingers out of the way. I did like the fact that this rocker reclines, so if your baby is sleepy, you can lie him down. As for the too big of a seat comment made in other reviews, I found that I could put a blanket in the seat for my infant who wasn't rolling over yet.

Other Seats Do Not Compare!
We received another brands bouncy seat at our baby shower. It was cute and had been recommended by several of my "new mom" friends when I registered for it. But, when our son arrived he hated it. It bounced him to hard, the seat had an upright angle(which was not good for an infant), and we were all sick of the song after a few days of trying to use the seat.

My husband starting looking for an alternative and we discovered the Activity Rocker. It was well worth the money. The seat has three positions, not just one stationary position. Our son loves to nap in the fully reclined posistion. We were pleased that we could introduce differant music and sounds to him instead of the mechanical ones offered on competitive products and it has two speeds (and both are gentle vibrations not hard giggly motions). The canopy is the right size to block out what is going on around him without blocking our view of him. Our little guy (3 months) loves the mobile and we love to watch him play with it (his movement also causes a gentle rocking movemnt). The seat is stable and I never feel that it could tip over with him. It also has a great saftey harness system. This seat has been a great investment for us. I have recommended it to all new and expecting moms I know.

Spend the extra for this ...
I was not sure I liked this rocker/bouncey seat at first...I love it! It has so many uses; it's a rocker, a bouncey seat, a sleeper. It is very durable compared to the other bouncers out there. My 2 mo old loves it. It reclines to a sleeping position, or can sit up, and has headphones for a CD player....he can listen to his own soft lullabies, while I listen to my music. The canopy allows me to take him outside when it is nice. He is even learning to rock it himself. Spend the extra and you will be able to use it longer.
