Don't Bother. This book's better.
This videotape seems almost slapped together from whatever footage was lying around, just to take advantage of the recent interest in Delta Force. The Iran footage is old and the assessment of that mission is superficial. The other footage is questionable, and focuses (overly so) on one aspect of training not even named correctly. (That's instinctive firing.) Could also have been done, and named, to piggyback on a similarly titled book on Delta that's getting great reviews. That book is "Inside Delta Force" by Eric L. Haney, a founding member and eight-veteran of the unit. If you want to know about the kind of man Delta attracts and how they are trained, that's the place to find it. No operational secrets, though. Haney walks the line. This video doesn't even know where the line is.

Waste of a good blank video tape
The worst money I have ever spent. This 30 dollar tape is nothing more than 5 minutes of early 80's footage of Special Forces praticing UW exercises. No delta at all. Oh, but there is about 10 minutes of home video footage of a guy in a ski mask (Presumably the producer and his buddies) racking the slide of a Sig, and a Beretta. Then we come to the bulk of the video, which is some supposed "Millitary Analyst" who mostly just rambles on about how delta operators have only seconds to make entry and shoot their enemies down. This man clearly knows nothing more about this unit than anyone who read the book "Delta Force" by Beckwith, quite possibly much less. Anyone interested in learning more about delta should read Beckwith's book, as well as "Black Hawk Down" by Bowden. "Delta America's elite counterterrorist force" by Griswold is a pretty good referance book, but if you are looking for pictures, they are mostly from the late 70's early 80's. The producer of this video should be ashamed of himself for putting out such garbage. It is nothing more than his attempt to make a quick buck off of the recent interest in unit. This tape would be a much better value if it was blank, that way you could use it to tape a show on special operations units off the discovery channel, TLC, or the history channel. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS

Not bad. Not bad at all! Wanted to bone up on what's happening, especially after the terror attacks here in the US. Very informative and fast paced. It is hard to find info on this subject and they do a great job of getting the point across.
Would defineetely recommend this video as a gift or to just enjoy it.
