Sweet Mobile This mobile goes with our Del Mar crib set. We also have the night light. There are only a few drawbacks I have found with it:
1) It only plays for what seems like two minutes. I have to wind it up as tightly as possible to get enough time out of it to lull the baby to sleep. When it stops running, I have to wind it up again and the sound of the winding startles the baby awake!(This would not be so bad if it played for 5-10 minutes)
2) I have a Parisienne 5 in 1 crib and the wood is too thick on the back or side rails of the crib to attach the mobile. The only place I could locate the mobile is on the crib gate (which is not recommended). However, it was there or return the mobile. You might want to try the mobile out on the same crib as yours in the store before you purchase this mobile.
My baby loves the mobile. She loves to watch the turtles and dolphins swim around the crib!
More Music Please!
I love this mobile...it is beautiful...and the music is nice...but I find that it runs out way too fast and I have to constantly rewind it up...sometimes this may happen just as baby is nodding off and the the wind up is very noisy and will wake baby.

While this mobile does not get my son to sleep, it's only because he's too busy enjoying it! He loves to watch it, especially the turtles which appear to be his favorites, go around over his head and has been known to yell at it if it stopps before he's ready (only 8 weeks old!). It is in no way a quick spin. If you crank it up all the way it'll spin and play it's song for a good 5 minutes or so. Definatly long enough to make a bottle. My son use to cry his little heart out while I made one. However, now I just turn the mobile on over his head and he's instantly quiet watching the turtles with a look of total awe on his face. In fact, his first coo was even directed at the turtle. I think my son says it best, this mobile is great!
Only drawback: mommy and daddy will get sick of the music long before baby does. But hey, welcome to parenthood!
