Customer Reviews of Debt Cures "They" Don't Want You to Know About
Everything you need in one place I thought the book was great. The statute of limitation on debt was something completely new to me. This appears to be the best of what info is out there on eliminating debt. I'd recommend it to anyone that is losing sleep about what they owe. I wish I had this book ten years ago.
Opening Eyes to the Obvious We Don't See
Kevin writes about what many of us have seen over the years and were too trusting to believe our instincts and too busy to read the details and connect the dots. Kevin compares the present with how it used to be, when certain industries were more ethical and honest. Younger people haven't experienced those more ethical days to know the difference.

>"Debt Cures" issues warnings to the young to help keep them from falling into the jaws of debt, to be taken advantage of in good, and tough, times. It is a guide for parents to use to educate their kids. It offers steps to help debt despaired people eliminate debt while offering needed encouragement. The repetition in Keven's writings is necessary for learning, while connecting the dots. I would like to have read this book many years ago as the bazaar was creeping into the financial industry.
Just My Opinion
OK, I have not read the book yet. I just ordered it 2 days ago after seeing the infomercial. I do have to agree with some of the other reviewers that the sales person on the other end taking the order does do alot of upselling. However, it is up to you weather or not you take these or not. OK, like the other person I did. At the time of the call it seemed like a good idea and I wanted to help some friends and family members too. At the same time though, my gutt is telling me wait a minute. In the end the order that was suppose to be 29.95 plus shipping turns into 200 and something. I did not stop it that moment, but called back saying wait a minute. I am getting this book to reduce dept not have more dept. If my friends and family members want this they can get it themselves. I'll read the book and if I like it, I will tell them. the person on the other ends was very understanding, but like the other reviewer stated they said they could not cancel my order because it had already left their system and that I would have to call customer service and they would be more then happy to help me. Anyway, I call customer service and they do not have me in tehir systme yet but tell me to call back the next day that I would be in it by then and they will cancel my order. I called this morning and they were more then happy to cancel the order. I told them all I wanted was to cancel the additions to my order that I wanted the book and nothing else. They were more then happy to do this for me and immediately canceled the additional items. Therefore, I did not have the negative experience that others had.

>As for as the book repeating itself over and over, I really will not have a problem with that either. Some people "Have to hear something over and over" before they get the point. I am not sure if this is what kevin is trying to do or not since I have not yet read the book. I do know from listening to the infomercial that there are some truths in the book.

>I too would never diss anyone (although I have in the past, I'm not perfect either. Who is?) Comment about the book, not the author. So what if he has had trouble with the law in the past, many credit companies and polititians have had trouble with the law. Consumers have also had trouble with the law because they did not know their rights. All I can say is read the book yourself only you can decide if it is worth it or not. Sure you may get the information elsewhere, that's your perogative. Don't buy the sell ups unless you want them and can actually afford them. If you make the mistake of getting them and change your mind like I did just call and cancel them. You will have to call customer service and not the order line and the order line can give you customer services number. The company will cancel the order for you if you want to cancel it. I find nothing false about how they are doing business. Any business and a good sales person will try to upsell to you, this is how they make their money.
