Customer Reviews of Dear Frankie
Thank God for foreign films !!! I have just watched this movie for the third time this year. If this film doesn't do anything for you...you're dead (or at least dead inside). Emily Mortimer...Gerard Butler....Jack McElhone....all fantastic. An incredibly touching and romantic movie. I only wish they had ALL of the movie music in the soundtrack cd. The wonderful ballad written by Buck Owens -"The Great White Horse" added so much to the dance sequence, and the mood of the movie. They didn't give the woman credit who sang the song;I would have even liked Emily's version. What a shame.
Dear Frankie
This is a perfect compliment to a wonderful movie. It all fit so beautifully together that I relive the film each of the many times I listen to it. The music of Alex Heffes is hauntingly simple and lingers in your head. I would have given this a 5 without a doubt if the Damien Rice song had been included. That was a major disappointment to me.
Damien Rice
This cd is missing a lovely song by Damien Rice, called 'delicate'. In the movie it plays during the beach scene where Frankie is attempting to skip rocks.
