>Ottoman #2 - no wood damage (we checked in the store), but upon setting it up at home, the frame was warped, and every time it rocked, it clunked from leg to leg. <
>Ottoman #3 - no wood damage, and after checking a BUNCH that were warped, we found one that wasn't. This one had a cushion that had sewing defects. <
>4th trip to BabiesRUs - they were able to exchange the cushion for a new one. <

comfy for just you
i give it two stars for the look and comfort for you, not you and the baby. if you have a long baby like i did, 21 1/2 inches,(i'm only 5'3'' and i can't ever seem to get comfy in it) then you will not like this chair, not to mention, when you're up in the middle of the night rocking her to sleep you are sitting straight up. also when the baby gets older you have to watch the baby's head on the wood arm rests that stick out. the cushion does not go all the way to the end of the arm rests on the chair. if i was you, spend the extra 200 dollars and get the chair that looks like a lazy boy, with the gliding ottoman. that's what we're getting for our 2nd baby. breastfeeding her in the chair was also difficult, and it got harder as she got bigger and older. by the time she was 5 months old, she was already 2 feet tall! i would not reccommend this chair, it is a beautiful wood, we have the whole set for her room, crib, changing table, and matching ottoman and glider, well i could've done without the glider. i ended up feeding her more on the couch than anywhere else. we only used the glider when we had company over. it's so useless. it just sits in her room, i can't use it now, she does not fit in it at all laying down on me, and she just turned 1. either spend the more money on a better choice or just go by a boppy pillow and feed your baby on the couch like i constantly did.
