Customer Reviews of Dark Matter
The best of an awesome band They just keep getting better and better. I am relatively knew to IQ having only discovered them in the last year. I am a long time fan of Yes and Genesis. I love these guys!! IQ have brought Prog into the new century and don't seem to be slowing down! <

>If you are a prog fan... buy this CD!
IQ should be more widely acclaimed
I'm pretty suprised to read some of the lack-luster reviews posted here of Dark Matter. Out of a mammoth stack of Neo-Prog I've managed to accumulate, this particular disk ranks very high with my liking. A couple of Amazon reviews I read even influenced some hesitancy to give IQ a try. I am glad I finally budged and picked up Dark Matter because it's one of the more interesting, melodic and conceptually intelligent things I have heard in a while. The last song is my favorite, but I think you have to play the album sequentially to arrive at the climactic finish. I always preferred Gentle Giant to Genesis so I can't personally argue, nit pick or compare Genesis vs. IQ as some reviews have.

>Dark Matter is a deep and interesting listen. All I can say is that I really enjoy it and do not regret the purchase the slightest.
Best Neo-Prog you can get!
I listen to an immense amount of neo prog music and this album by IQ stands in my top ten neo prog ever. Not one song wears out its welcome or drags. It is precise, economical, and the vocal harmonies are brilliant. I am a big fan of majestic lush keyboards and this album has that in abundance. Martin Orford reminds me alot of Tony Banks around the abacab years. In summation this is as good as neo prog gets!
