Small and compact, the Dymo LabelWriter Turbo plugs into your computer and sits right on your desktop. It's a direct thermal printer, so there's no messy ink or toner cartridges.

Setting up the LabelWriter Turbo is easy: Connect the Dymo LabelWriter Turbo using the appropriate enclosed power cord--two are included, a plug-and-play adapter for USB ports and a serial port connector--and turn on the LabelWriter and then your computer. Using the enclosed shipping-size labels, load them onto the plastic spool, then close the top. Press the feed button on the front of the LabelWriter to advance the labels after you print them. Included is a CD-ROM with the software you'll need to format your labels. Just insert the CD-ROM into your drive and follow the instructions.

Depending on the size of your label and how simple or fancy you want to get, choose an appropriate template. There are choices for plain return address labels, file folders, computer disks, or shipping labels with a graphic, or you can even import your own logo. Fonts and sizes are up to you. Like an e-mail program, you can create address lists for people or groups that you often contact and print a label with a quick mouse click.
