Printing 12 labels per minute, the Dymo LabelWriter uses direct thermal technology, which eliminates the need for toner, ink cartridges, and ribbons. great labels This LabelWriter has been wonderful. Our office uses it to create labels for patients' charts, letters, and barcoding. We have also used it for creating labels for 3.25" floppy disks. As a matter of fact, we use it so much that we purchased a second one so that we would have one in the front and back offices. It is also capable of printing a variety of label types, but I can't speak to that. I do, however, highly recommend it.
