Good Quality for a Good Price
Pros: <
>-Super-easy and sturdy assembly <
>-Rolls and rocks easily and quietly (I have carpet) <
>-The mobile arm can be detached completely leaving just the music/vibes attachment, or can swing away to get to your baby easily <
>-It's pleasing to the eyes, so I felt less guilty about keeping it out all day as a fixture in our room <
>-The mattress isn't THAT thin, and fluffy/soft mattresses are not recommended anyway to reduce SIDS <
>-The canopy can be detached completely and doesn't make that annoying "click-click-click" noise when putting it up and down like a lot of the other bassinet canopies <
>-The nature sounds are nice and the instrumental music (but keep in mind that most baby music isn't the symphony, it's close enough to baby's ear that you can keep it on the lowest setting and he'll hear it, and not bother you) <
>-The fabrics aren't lacy or delicate and will stand up to wash and wear <
>-After ironing the skirt, the bassinet really looks like what you see on the box :) <

>-The singing lullabies ARE annoying and sung by a frilly voice, and it will bother you even on the lowest setting <

>-The snaps that attach the fabric to the frame of the bassinet are difficult to snap and unsnap. This may not be a feature that would bother a lot of people, but this is a two handed job and babies often occupy one of them, making it a minor annoyance in trying to zip through chores/laundering the bassinet linens <
>-The sheet that comes with the mattress doesn't fit that well but in my experience it doesn't seem to pose a safety hazard (isn't too loose that it will bunch up or too tight that it will come off or make the mattress bend upwards), just seems to be an aesthetic annoyance

The Best Bassinet!
We bought this bassinet for our fourth child, and I'm so glad we did. My daughter Rayah (2 months old) loves to watch the bear mobile and soft light and the adjustable vibration soothes her when I first lay her down to sleep. If she's especially fussy the rocking motion puts her out within minutes. She sleeps longer in this (6-8 hours) than anywhere else in the house. She seems to like the music but I don't use the sounds very often (the vocal music is a little creepy, but that's only one of a few different sound choices. The nature sounds are pretty cool). It's nice that the volume and vibration are adjustable, to suit your baby's particular taste/tolerance. When she outgrows the bassinet, the mobile/sound/vibration unit can be attached to the crib, which is great to help ease the transition. Overall, the bassinet has a nice, neutral, classy look and has a nice sized storage basket underneath and a shade to help block out the light while she's sleeping. Two months of daily use and we're still on the same set of batteries.

Too noisy
This is just okay in my book. I was so excited when I got this as a gift but after using it I wish I had registered for another one. <
>The mobile is too noisy and the light is very dim. The vibration is WAY too loud and it scares my baby. <
