Customer Reviews of Cowboy Bebop - Toys in the Attic (Vol. 6)
Two Great Episodes After watching the first story, I immdiately went to my fridge and began checking expiration dates! A hilarious episode with some real intense suspense scenes. The second episode is also very enjoyable as well and shows off Spike's fighting skills well.
Its great, but do they have to have nudity?
Im kinda happy and dissapointed with this tape. Im happy because now Cowboy Bebop got back on track. Im dissapointed because they've finally shown Faye nude (Remember the cover of Vol. 2?). If you can ignore the nudity however, this is a great tape showing just how serious and funny this show can be. There is also a lot of tips of the hat to films like Aliens, 2001 and Crying Game. Not to mention an appearence by Vicious. If Vicious is in this volume, then you know its gonna be as cool as Volume 3. So is this worth the buy? Yes, but try to ignore the nudity in it though.
Please watch this tape! I'll be your best friend...
After seeing Episode 11, I really had the urge to go clean out my fridge. Gross. Watching Spike light his cigarette with a flame thrower (classic action-movie gag) but then incinerating it down to the filter made me burst out laughing. That's all I'm going to say because our previous reviewers have done a bang-up job covering the important parts. Episode 12 really pushed the envelope of this series. The return of Viscious (come on, who didn't see it coming?) was very well handled as were the social ramifications of building a colony that's only populated by men. The cliff-hanger ending made my skin crawl a bit. Think "Crying Game."
