Customer Reviews of Country Living Gardener
THE BEST Gardening Magazine! Just Wonderful! It's nearly summer now, and time to get the weeding done, the flowers repotted, and transplanted, and the garden paths refreshed, so everyone can enjoy your yard!!
This magazine is both beautiful and useful! The photos are stunning & lush with color and texture. The articles are full of useful practical suggestions, and there are exciting product sections, as well.
This is a magazine full of both practical & beautiful ideas.
I highly recommend "Country Living Gardener" for anyone who has an interest in plants, flowers or gardening: it has excellent ideas for the beginner to the expert gardener, and LUSH WONDERFUL PHOTOS!
I've given this magazine subscription as gifts, and everyone I gave it came back to me with great compliments for the magazine. It is a wonderful year 'round gift that keeps on giving.
Best Around
... I am NEVER disappointed with the material in Country Living Gardener, always fresh, accurate and life enhancing. A must read in my book.
Mag for the Gardener
One of the great joys of my life is spending time in my flower garden, working the soil, planning, planting and relaxing. As with many other hobbies it is a benefit to discover what others skilled in the avocation are doing. Country Living Gardener is a well presented magazine with plenty of pictures, ideas and a wealth of information for the gardener.
I find myself pouring over past issues prior to each season to gather ideas and plans for my garden. Country Living Gardener always has a variety of ideas and gardens showcased from every area of the country. In February's issue, there are gardens from Alaska, Hawaii and an article about New York City's Central Park.
Each edition features spotlights on various plants. The most recent has an article on Old Roses and cactus and succulents. These article feature spectacular photography so the reader has a good idea of how plants look and can imagine them in their garden. There is a beautiful Climbing Old Blush Rose which I could easily envision on my back fence.
Country Living Gardene also has articles on herbs, design and kitchen gardening. Recipes are provided in each edition which appear to be homey and easy. Ones I have tried in the past have been added to my regular cooking repertoire.
Entwined through the magazine is a country flavor to it all. One can find information on coping with deer, designing and making labyrinths.
If you are a gardener or just dream of gardening you will find that you are making a sound investment by subscribing.
