I originally bought this play yard because I wanted something simple and didn't need the bassinet or all the accessories of the big fancy play yards. I thought this would be perfect - simple, easy to put together, and a great price. <

good, basic play yard
This is a far cry from how playpens used to be. My older son is 15 and he had a big, spacious playpen. My new son is 10 weeks old, and despite my initial disappointment at how relatively tiny this is (I knew it would be smaller, but still . . .), it suits my needs. I was not interested in all the bells and whistles on the more expensive models. This was extremely easy to set up right out of the box--it just unfolds and you're done. It doesn't have a bassinet option, however, as stated in the description. I haven't taken it down yet, but that looks easy too. My baby plays in it happily (it fits his Ikea play gym perfectly), and it will come in handy for travel. We're trying to avoid buying tons of superfluous gear for our baby, but I do like this basic piece.
