Customer Reviews of Copco Torino 2-1/2-Quart Teakettle, Robin's Egg Blue Enamel on Steel
Whistle sucks I bought this kettle mainly because the one I had didn't have a whistle. I really liked the looks of this one and the design, and it's easy to add water with the large opening in the top. But the whistle makes such a small amount of noise, you can't hear it at all unless you are standing next to it. If you press down hard on the lid it whistles loudly, but who wants to do that? Poor design on the whistle, but everything else is just fine. I can only give this a three...sorry....{:^(-{{{----[ <

>You will need an oven mitt to pour your tea water. Otherwise you will be scalded with the steam. Period.

Cute but not very functional
The appearance of this tea kettle is very attractive - however due to the design you must be very careful when pouring boiling water to prevent a steam burn. Also, it is virtually impossible to completely empty all of the water from the tea kettle - you have to wait until the water cools before you turn it completely upside down to extract all water before storing. I would not even attempt to remove all of the water while it was still hot.
