How does it work?
The ScareCrow uses a combination of sudden noise, unexpected movement, and a startling blast of water to create a memorable and unpleasant experience for the trespasser.
The animal immediately associates this unpleasant experience with the location, and to avoid similar surprises, learns to avoid the area. If an animal chooses to return, the ScareCrow will be waiting.
While a human may flee several steps after activating a ScareCrow, animals are typically affected to a much greater degree. In most cases they run much farther, and stay away longer. Because the unit only triggers when the animal moves, its behavior is difficult for animals to anticipate, making it a very effective deterrent.

Great Product [[VIDEOID:19627761]]I was having problems with the cats getting in my vegetable garden. I purchased and installed this product and have not had any problems since. This sprinkler does what it says and I would highly recommend it. On the videos I am throwing a tennis ball in the garden and my dog is chasing it. Love this thing!
We purchased this hoping to keep our cats and neighborhood cats out of our flowerbeds. Let me tell you, it works! Now even when it isn't on the cats still walk well around the flowerbeds. Warning though, you will most likely get wet either when you set it up or just forgetting and walking in front of the sensor. It even got a friend of ours the other night when he walked up to the house. He thought we deliberately sprayed him with some kind of remote-controlled sprayer. Pretty funny, but be careful where you aim it. :)
Varmits are steering clear of my plants!
It works, people. Buy it! Take the time to adjust it properly for the area you want to protect and leave it alone. Good suggestion: since the water source needs to be constant, use a very good quality garden hose, or better yet, washing machine hose. You don't want your hose connection to burst.
