Bills but no Mags I kept receiving bills, but would not pay because i had not received a single magazine. I continued to call, and they insisted it had been corrected. Today, i finally got a hold of someone who cancelled my account for me, and will be trying this again. Hopefully i don't have a collection agency out there hunting me down.
Conde Nast Traveler Subscription Acknowledgement
I ordered a two year subscription on 6/23/2007 -- a month ago. To date, I have not received any kind of acknowledgement from Conde Nast. Possibly this is normal, but it shouldn't be.
Satisfaction Guaranteed Policy
After requesting "trial" subscription, I was not impressed (far too much advertising space and far too little content) and requested that subscription be cancelled. Only one copy of the magazine was ever received, and yet invoices continue to be sent. After again responding with a cancellation request, my account was given to a collection agency, North Shore Inc of Westbury, New York. Attempts to clear this matter through their 800 phone service and e-mail to their Customer Service Department have proven unsuccessful. Are other customers experiencing this lack of "satisfaction guaranteed" service?
