Amazing live, just very good on CD Panoply Academy Corps of Engineers (aka Panoply Glee Club, Panoply Legionairres) played The Aquadome in Kirksville, Mo, last week. The show was absolutely mind-blowing, similar to Pere Ubu and perhaps Sonic Youth. I bought the CD and was not disappointed; all the tracks are fresh and invigorating compared to the tripe coming out of the major labels right now, and even some respected Indie labels, but it just couldn't compare to the live show. Buy the disc, buy it now, but watch the Secretly Canadian Records site for tour dates and catch them live if you really want to be blown away.
