Customer Reviews of Computer Power User - Cpu
THE best! I love CPU magazine. Even after trying several others (even popular ones like PCmag) I found CPU to be the most thorough in content and value. They have dozens of useful artices in every issue - somethings for everybody. From hardware and software reviews to how to build a PC and program. This magazine is a sure thing for PC modders (people who decorate and customize the physical look of a computer) because this publication is heavy on modding. They have light sence of humor throughout their pages which keep you chuckling every so often. <

>I recommend the CPU magazine for intermediate and advanced computer users (Beginners can read it too, but I think they would fair better with SmartComputing magazine from the same publisher). <

>Great value, great editors, great tech info, one awesome mag!
Great magazine for intermediate to "expert" home users.
I have been receiving this magazine for almost two years now and it's one that I actually can't wait to receive in the mail. I have become a much better computer user and have learned a great deal. This magazine is perfect for home user who likes to do-it-yourself. I have built and maintained my own computer with the many articles that this publication provided. They also have a great website with an excellent collection of past articles in case it's not in any current issues. This is include free with your subscription. This magazine will become addictive and keep you wanting to learn more about computers, how they work, and they new tech to do so.
Just the right coverage
CPU magazine has just the right coverage of technical subjects for the computer savy user. Its articles are not too deep for the technical but unitiated user, and provide useful and sometimes insightful for the initiated.
If anything is lacking it is the avoidence of controversial issues. I know that the magazines editors and writers may disagree. To satisfy me the magazine should provide both critical industry anlysis as well as the current excellent technical descriptions. A "no fear" approach.
